UI Designer

We are looking for an experienced and talented User Interface Designer to create and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences in the Web3, decentralized space. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams with developers, product managers, marketers, and other designers. Preferred experience working in the Web3, decentralized space. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given wireframe and user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interface.

Who Are You?

You, the UI Designer, gather user requirements to design web and mobile applications and build navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you have a portfolio of professional design projects and an interest in blockchain, we’d like to meet you. You are an advocate for the user while working with our product team to translate ideas into designs. You’ll carry concepts through every stage of our design process such as information architecture and wireframing. Working directly with our engineers, you will deliver product specs and design assets, and contribute to the big picture of product vision in collaboration with the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Branding, UX, Marketing, Product, and Engineering in an agile environment
• Receive wireframes from the UX Designer and make them look amazing
• Create polished visual interface design from wireframes
• Design graphic user interface elements, like navigation, forms, and buttons
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how apps function and what they look like
• Prepare, present, and defend your designs to internal teams, external clients, and key stakeholders
• Make design decisions based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)

Requirements

• Strong Portfolio of design projects
• Proven work experience as a UI Designer
• Hands-on experience working with wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows
• Experience using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript. (bonus: web3, blockchain)
• Creative ideas and a problem-solving mindset
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process
• Openness to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it
• Excellent written communication skills
• Work ethic driven by a desire to grow and succeed
• Exceptional time-management skills
