Your opportunity

This role is the opportunity to be the founding technical member of CoinTracker’s new B2B accounting business line. As the lead engineer, you will be responsible for laying the technical foundation of our B2B product and launching the product 0 → 1. If successful, you’ll grow this business line to be bigger than our entire company within three years.

You will

• Participate in the full lifecycle of product development, from early definition to planning through release and beyond
• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design, and work across the stack, including backend and web, to build features
• Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, product, design, and business to provide end-to-end solutions
• Provide mentorship and design reviews for other engineers on the team
• Drive organization-wide initiatives to evolve our technical architecture, infrastructure, and culture

• Have strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and distributed systems

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Experience building large scale consumer or enterprise products
• Productive, resourceful, and effective at problem-solving
• Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity
• Interested in financial products and/or cryptocurrency
• Able to work effectively in a remote setting and able to overlap with our core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT

• Infrastructure: GCP, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Docker, Pub/Sub, Datadog, PagerDuty
• You don’t need to know any or all of these, but be willing to learn!
