Its fundamental use-case as a store of value with a predictable monetary policy is having profound implications on freeing people into financial sovereignty.  Securities Compliance Representative  We are entering a new age for financial services. Legacy banking products are built on lacklustre and lazy workmanship while new experiences are crafted with heart and care.  You will play an important role helping to develop, implement and oversee the ongoing compliance obligations that apply to Crypto-asset Trading Platforms under securities laws.

You will:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement compliance controls
  • Assist with the ongoing monitoring and oversight of relevant obligations to ensure compliance with internal compliance standards
  • Document the completion of the various oversight processes as required within the vendor solution
  • Prepare and update crypto asset statements, risk disclosure statements and related documentation
  • Help with the drafting of updates to the Policies and Procedures Manual (PPM)
  • Research industry best practices in relation to applicable laws
  • Deliver training and guidance as needed 
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Nice to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a compliance role preferably within the securities industry
  • Experience with developing compliance procedures and related controls
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional areas
  • Willingness to grow within your role and within the company
  • Basic prior knowledge or some familiarity with Bitcoin
