The Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to be part of the Townstar team. You will help us in identifying any bugs or errors we need to eliminate.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional and regression testing on web-based games.
- Collaborate with Quality Software Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Create test cases from requirements.
- Execute test cases and analyze results.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional web testing experience
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software tool like JIRA
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice-to-have Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in project QA methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Game testing experience
- Familiarity with Gitlab
- Automation experience is a plus
