We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Mail Service Coordinator to join the team! This is a part time position in Hoboken, NJ reporting to the Director of Operations.
20 hours a week - Hours would be either set as M-F 8am to 12pm or set as M,W,F 9am - 4pm (not a combination of both) whichever works better for the employee.
Mail Service Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Opening, sorting, and scanning mail by department and category.
- Utilizing scanner and similar administrative technology.
- Managing outgoing messages and packages.
- Ensuring proper labeling and packaging for outgoing post.
- Arranging for deliveries with delivery companies such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
- Printing and shipping documents as needed
- Forwarding misdirected mail.
- Keeping an inventory of mailing supplies, such as envelopes and stamps.
- Signing off on certified mail.
- Logging incoming mail in company systems.
- Delivering mail via email to both departments and individuals.
Mail Service Coordinator Requirements:
- Minimum High school diploma or GED.
- Previous mail service experience required.
- Proficiency with scanning machines.
- Computer proficiency required. MS Office
- Previous experience with FedEx and USPS shipping & receiving and other mail service resources.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Proficiency in GSuite helpful.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
