This is a highly-skillful role, focusing on HR organization, business operations support, and building Highvibe Network’s internal culture and the growth of our DAO and Sub-DAO collectives.
This role works directly with the Co-Founder/Head of Culture and the Director of Operations, assisting the creation of DAO governance models and championing our team.
ROLE STATS
- Full time (40 hours a week)
- Remote (time overlap with Singapore and/or Dubai is preferred)
- Manager level (previous experience as a Manager or 3+ years experience in HR, Operations, or People Ops)
- Reports to the Director of Operations and the Co-Founder/Head of Culture
- No direct reports
- Will collaborate and work with all team members
- Compensation: This role will be paid in USDC cryptocurrency
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
HR
- Bring expertise in HR practices and compliance for our global team
- Assist with the back-end organization of team/DAO members and Ambassadors
- Onboarding management and new team/DAO members support
- Payroll management
- Invoice payment management
- Employee review process tracking
- Investigate and vet new HR solutions
- Database management and assistance with CRM system organization
- Support the recruitment system, including creating job descriptions and arranging interviews
- Forecast human resource needs for the business and support the recruitment funnel
Operations
- Support the implementation of business systems and processes
- Onboard and train team/DAO members
- Ensure processes are being adhered to and identify when they need to change or no longer serve the team
People Management
- The People’s Champion! A steward of culture and ways of working, for HVN and its Sub-DAOs
- The team’s point of contact for best practice information
- Understanding and supporting the needs of Hiring Managers
- Identify the team’s need for development and training
- Support and develop best practices for remote and async work
- Support and proactively develop all people processes
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Required
- 3 years experience in HR/People Ops working with global, remote and async teams
- A passion for people, culture and implementing support systems
- Complete discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential information and sensitive situations
- Strong American-English writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to identify priorities and self-manage
- Organized, detail-oriented, great at project management and able to manage deliverables and expectations across different departments
- Experience working with Google Workspace and Notion
Nice to have
- Experience working with Discord and Airtable
- Copywriting skills
- A good understanding of Web3: DAOs, blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFTs, and metaverse.
