Where we need help:

In web3, community is a moat. To build a strong protocol, we must ensure we’re listening to, answering, understanding, and addressing the technical and practical needs of the developer community. It’s important we guide, empower and grow our members by answering their questions and giving them the resources needed to turn from followers to contributors. We need to make sure we nurture an omnichannel community across Twitter, Discord and offline events and hackathons.  We're hiring for our first Developer Relations team member. 

Your Job:

  • Producing clear verbal, written, and video technical explanations about the mechanisms of the protocol and how to use it
  • Support people onboarding to the protocol and encourage happy, active engagement across our official Discord, Twitter, and Social channels
  • Capture feedback, build demos and code examples, and support customers with product issues.
  • Host and organize AMAs, hackathons, office hours and community appreciation events
  • Plan and deliver presentations about the protocol at developer events and conferences

Your Experience / Qualifications: 

  • Strong writing ability (English)
  • Prior experience in developer relations or similar roles e.g. developer community management, developer education, developer advocacy, voice-of-the-developer
  • Hands-on technical experience with sound knowledge of blockchain APIs, nodes & infrastructure
  • Ability to proactively plan and create technical content (articles, videos, example apps etc.) and deliver technical presentations about complex topics in digestible format
  • Experience with running a (developer) community - running community calls, building an ambassador program, hosting workshops etc.
  • Strong project management skills - systemizing recurring programs, documenting programs, setting up and implementing communication flows around programs
  • (Nice-to-have) Deep understanding of and/or experience in open-source development and communities
  • (Nice-to-have) Experience with Golang and the Cosmos SDK
