About Gnosis Chain:

Gnosis Chain is the product of the merger of Gnosis and xDai. As one of Ethereum’s earliest sidechains, Gnosis Chain has quiet but significant real world usage and will embark on an aggressive technical roadmap with the objective of accelerating Ethereum. Gnosis Chain is also where Ethereum’s colorful and quirky spirit lives on, as the original home that incubated many defining projects like POAP, Burner Wallet, Dark Forest, and Perpetual Protocol.  Gnosis Beacon Chain has over 100k validators and aims to be the third most decentralized blockchain. Gnosis Chain currently does not have a trustless bridge, which we are looking to remedy. A proposal by the 0xparc team for a zk light client based bridge passed in July and we know that other teams are working on trustless bridges as well. Additionally, Hashi was launched earlier this year to provide a different approach to bridge security and became a core part of the Gnosis bridges roadmap. Hashi has received great support from the bridge community so far and several integrations and new features are in the works.

About the role:

• Development of Hashi and trustless bridges, incl. smart contracts, application integrations and tooling (off-chain components & monitoring)
• Contribute in shaping Hashi’s technical roadmap and expanding the product further
• Work closely with third party teams on integrations
• Own the production ready implementation and deployments of all related technical components
• Work on the migration of the current bridges to a Hashi based infrastructure

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 5+ years of experience in full-stack development roles
• You have 2+ years of blockchain development experience. Bridge protocol experience is a plus
• You have extensive experience with software development best practices and methodologies
• You have strong knowledge of software design, documentation and testing
• You are a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude who can lead a team project to success
• You understand the bridge design space well
• You understand the tradeoffs of bridge architectures and different implementations
• You are able to communicate with different technical teams and stakeholders effectively
