About the Role

Our CoFi team consists of world leaders in liquidity-saving payment solutions for real businesses and the underlying science that makes this liquidity-saving possible. We are looking for a cryptography engineer to work closely with the team on the design and development of privacy-preserving collaborative finance protocols and core blockchain software.
What your primary responsibilities will be:

- Design, evaluate and implement cryptographic protocols for privacy-preserving and scalable blockchain applications.
- Prototype and evaluate existing privacy protocols using ZK proof systems (Groth '16, PLONK, etc.).
- Evaluate privacy-preserving graph algorithms in terms of performance and security.
- Maintain cyber security best practices across the entire blockchain technology by applying cryptographic methods and primitives.
- Develop, test, and manage blockchain networks with an emphasis on ensuring efficiency, distributed computing, consensus protocols, and cryptography.
- Write specifications and design documentation.
- Perform ongoing security analyses, debug circuits as required.
What we look for in a successful Cryptography Engineer:

- Experience implementing cryptographic protocols (ideally using zkSNARKs, secure MPC or FHE).
- Experience designing and implementing privacy-preserving blockchain protocols.
- Experience implementing core blockchain software.
- Experience with systems and async programming in Rust.
- Understanding of network flows and graph algorithms.
- A strategic problem solver and self-starter
- Good communication and support skills for triaging and resolving issues.
