BIM Manager - Multifamily

About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading integrated residential General Contractor's in San Francisco with over 100 employees and over 10 active projects thoughout the Bay Area. Our client is building a multi-family Podium Apartment in South San Francsico. The BIM Manager will be an integral part of the companies project portfolio.

Job Description

1. BIM Implementation and Strategy:

• Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and workflows to maximize project efficiency and collaboration.
• Define BIM requirements and guidelines for project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper BIM software and technology implementation and integration.

1. BIM Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to establish BIM goals, protocols, and deliverables.
• Provide BIM support and guidance to project teams throughout all project phases.
• Manage clash detection and resolution processes to identify and resolve conflicts in the virtual model.

1. BIM Modeling and Documentation:

• Create and manage 3D models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain BIM libraries, templates, and families for consistent project documentation.
• Generate detailed construction documents, including 2D drawings and schedules, from the BIM model.

The Successful Applicant

• Candidates MUST have a strong track record of successful building and construction of Commercial and/or Mixed Use projects (Type I and/or Type II) of the Podium.
• 4-year college degree. Desirable study concentration in construction management.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction. Should be experienced in managing multiple projects.
• Organized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
